Meet Wayan
Sound healer & yoga and holistic facilitator
Wayan is a Bali-based sound healer and trained nurse who offers deeply restorative, holistic healing experiences that support overall well-being.
With a strong clinical foundation in nursing, Wayan brings a grounded understanding of the body, nervous system, and the importance of safety and care into her work. This is seamlessly combined with her intuitive approach to sound healing, energy work, yoga, and meditation—allowing her to guide individuals into deeply relaxed and restorative states with presence and compassion.
Growing up in a Balinese family rooted in ancestral traditions, Wayan was naturally immersed in ceremonial practices, energy awareness, and ritual from an early age. This cultural foundation continues to shape her work, where she thoughtfully blends traditional wisdom with modern sound healing techniques.
Her sessions are designed as nurturing and safe spaces where individuals can release, reconnect, and restore. Each experience is intuitively guided and uniquely shaped by the energy of the individual or group, creating a deeply personal and meaningful journey.
Wayan has facilitated private sessions, group classes, and collaborative wellness experiences with yoga studios, retreat centers, and wellness spaces—offering thoughtfully curated sessions that support mindful connection and holistic healing.
Sharpen memory and reduce depression
Qigong and Quantum Flow
Feel present and build inner vitality with these healing lessons
Pronounced “chee-gong,” this calmative Chinese philosophy and medicine has been in existence for millennia. Following the pathways of the energy meridians, the grounding practice’s signature slow and sequenced standing movements are coupled with coordinated breath to restore your chi. A panacea for mind and body, Qigong can support our respiratory health, lower cholesterol, sharpen memory and reduce depression. Lessons are led by Barcelona-born and now Bali-based Jordi, who also teaches Quantum Flow. An alchemy of ancient wisdom and cutting-edge science, this healing modality works to discharge stuck energy on a cellular level. Participants can expect an amalgam of intense core movements, resistance training, breathwork and sound vibrations in each class.
Improve cardiovascular health
Meditation
Hone the art of connecting the body to the breath with a class or retreat
Nearly every religion has a tradition of using meditative practices. This mind-body practice – which can counter stress, improve cardiovascular health, ease fatigue and awaken your spiritual self – is about training in awareness and attention. Many meditation techniques exist: from using a mantra to focus on your breath to nature-based visualization. What unites them is bringing yourself back to the present moment over and over again, to achieve a sense of inner calm and balance even in the midst of chaos and distraction. We host complimentary silent meditation sessions every evening from our shala, or why not try a private guided class taught by Johanna.
